The Melbourne Renegades have named a refreshed squad for their clash with the Hobart Hurricanes in Geelong, with two changes made following the opening match of the BBL|15 season.
SQUAD: Two changes as Gades' prepare for 'Canes in Geelong
Adam Zampa returns to the squad after missing the season opener for personal reasons, while the recently-signed Sam Elliott has been added as a ready-to-go option within Cameron White's matchday squad.
The inclusions see Harry Dixon and Caleb Jewell making way for the upcoming match.
The squad boasts a balanced mix of experience and youth, with the likes of centurion Tim Seifert alongside Muhammad Rizwan, Josh Brown, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Ollie Peake anchoring the batting group.
The bowling attack remains a key focus with pacemen Jason Behrendorff, Andrew Tye, Gurinder Sandhu and Fergus O’Neill bolstered by Zampa’s spin option, while all-round versatility continues to come through with skipper Will Sutherland, Hassan Khan and Matthew Spoors.
The Renegades will be aiming to capitalise and make the most of their home conditions at GMHBA Stadium against the reigning champs in the Hurricanes.
The final XI will be confirmed at the toss.
