The Melbourne Renegades have named their squad for Sunday’s WBBL Melbourne Derby at CitiPower Centre, headlined by the return of skipper Sophie Molineux.
SQUAD NEWS: Molineux returns to Derby Day
Molineux is set to lead the side for the first time this season after overcoming a quad injury, taking the reins back from Georgia Wareham who’s help guide the team to two wins from their opening three matches.
Her return is timely as the Renegades prepare for the first of two Melbourne derbies this WBBL|11 and bounce back after their loss in Adelaide.
Molineux replaces pace bowler Sara Kennedy into the matchday squad.
The Final XI will be confirmed after the bat flip.
