This summer, the Melbourne Renegades will be in great shape both on and off the field, with GMHBA stepping up to the crease as the club’s Official Health Insurance Partner for the 2025/26 Big Bash League season.

The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to caring for community wellbeing and inspiring healthy lifestyles.
With deep roots in regional communities and a mission to improve the health of its members and the communities in which they live, GMHBA sees the collaboration as a natural fit.
The Renegades’ inclusive approach to cricket, from grassroots programs through to elite competition, aligns strongly with GMHBA’s belief that sport is a powerful way to build connection, resilience and lifelong wellbeing habits.
Through the partnership, GMHBA will support both the men’s and women’s Renegades teams throughout the 2025/26 BBL and WBBL seasons.
GMHBA members will also have the chance to win tickets to prime-time Renegades games in Geelong at GMHBA Stadium, including Brisbane Heat on 15 December and the defending champions Hobart Hurricanes on 21 December, providing opportunities for families to experience the excitement of live cricket and be part of the summer action.
GMHBA Chief Marketing Officer, Helen Stevens, said the partnership reflects the organisation’s passion for promoting active living and creating meaningful community connections.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Melbourne Renegades, a club that inspires fans, champions women’s sport, and brings communities together through the excitement of cricket,” she said.
“At GMHBA, we believe that being part of a healthy community is about more than just access to healthcare. It’s about connection, movement and shared experiences. Sport brings people together, and this partnership gives us another opportunity to engage with families across Geelong and regional Victoria, inspiring healthy, active lifestyles both on and off the field.”
"It’s fantastic to have GMHBA join the Renegades family,” Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said.
“They’ve been a big part of the Geelong and Melbourne communities for a long time and share our passion for supporting people and creating genuine connections. We’re excited to work together and make a real impact both on and off the field.”
