The Melbourne Renegades and Liberty's long-standing partnership will continue into seventh year ahead of the upcoming Weber WBBL|11 and KFC BBL|15 seasons.
Liberty and Renegades extend long-standing partnership into WBBL|11 and BBL|15
The extension means Liberty will continue as the club’s Principal Partner, with their branding remaining across the front of both BBL and WBBL playing and training kits, as well as in-venue and across a range of club activities.
The announcement was made in conjunction with last Thursday's Big Bash x New Balance Kit Launch where the new-look Renegades jersey - complete with the familiar Liberty logo - was unveiled in front of a bustling crowd in Melbourne's Southbank.
The two organisations then came together with Will Sutherland, Tom Rogers and Tayla Vlaeminck taking on Liberty staff members and Renegades fans in a game of Pop-Up Cricket under Marvel Stadium's new Stadium Square.
Liberty first joined the Renegades ahead of WBBL|05, backing women’s cricket at a time when the competition was taking off.
Since then, the partnership has grown across both the men’s and women’s programs, built on shared values and a long-term commitment to community and innovation.
Liberty Chief Distribution Officer, David Smith, said:
“We have been incredibly proud to support the Renegades as their longest serving partner and watch them go from strength to strength over the last six years.
“This has been a fantastic partnership as Liberty’s free-thinking approach to lending perfectly aligns with the bold and innovative spirit of the ‘Gades.
“We’re thrilled to continue as Principal Partner of such a diverse and inclusive club and look forward to the excitement of the upcoming WBBL|11 and BBL|15 seasons.”
Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said:
“Liberty have been outstanding supporters of our club for several years now, and we’re thrilled to continue working with them. Their commitment to both our men’s and women’s programs has played a big role in our journey.
“Liberty has always believed in what the Renegades stand for and we were thrilled to share last year’s WBBL championship with them.
“This season is another chance for us to build on that partnership and to connect Liberty with our members and fans in new and exciting ways.”
