A Continuing Legacy
The Little Long Walk is inspired by Michael Long’s iconic 2004 journey to Canberra, advocating for the rights and welfare of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The Renegades are proud to honour this legacy for a second year by wearing their stunning First Nations kit, designed by local artist and proud Peek and Kirrae Whurrong woman Bayley Mifsud (Merindah-Gunya) in collaboration with Renegades WBBL player & Jawoyn woman Ella Hayward.
