Few bowlers have built a Big Bash record as impressive as Jason Behrendorff.

A proven match-winner with the new ball, the left-arm quick joined the Melbourne Renegades ahead of BBL|15 after more than a decade as one of the competition's premier fast bowlers. He made his Renegades debut in the opening match of BBL|15, bringing elite experience, leadership and a winning mentality to the club.

Originally from Canberra, Behrendorff made his name in Western Australia, where he became a cornerstone of one of the Big Bash's most successful eras. A multiple-time BBL champion with the Perth Scorchers, he established himself as one of the competition's leading wicket-takers thanks to his ability to swing the ball, strike early and deliver under pressure.

His success in the Big Bash opened the door to international cricket, with Behrendorff representing Australia in both ODI and T20I formats while also featuring in some of the world's leading T20 leagues.
