A strapping all-rounder who has excelled throughout the junior pathway system, Will Sutherland’s combination of power-hitting down the order and thunderous bowling makes him one of the most talented young cricketers in the country.

The No. 12 comes from an elite sporting family, his father the former Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland and sister Annabel, member of the Victorian state team and Melbourne Stars WBBL side.

Elevated to the senior squad during the 2017 tournament, Sutherland became a regular in BBL|09, playing 10 of his side’s 14 matches, grabbing a career-best 3/30 against the Brisbane Heat at Marvel.
