If there's one thing Renegades fans can expect from Josh Brown, it's entertainment.

One of the most explosive batters in the Big Bash, Brown announced himself in the competition with a series of eye-catching performances after making his BBL debut for the Brisbane Heat in BBL|12. He quickly became one of the league's most exciting players and played a key role in the Heat's BBL|13 title-winning campaign.

Known for his fearless approach at the top of the order, Brown combines power, aggression and innovation to put bowlers under pressure from the outset. His ability to clear the boundary with ease has made him one of the most dangerous T20 batters in Australia and a fan favourite wherever he plays.

Brown joined the Melbourne Renegades ahead of BBL|14 as part of a move to Victoria and made his club debut against the Sydney Sixers in the opening match of the season. After establishing himself as an important part of the batting group, he recommitted to the club in 2026, signing a two-year contract extension ahead of BBL|16.

A proven match-winner capable of taking control of a game in a matter of overs, Brown brings energy, confidence and attacking intent every time he walks to the crease and remains a key part of the Renegades' plans.
