Family Day heads to Geelong

Melbourne Renegades fans, mark your calendars!

The Renegades’ Family Day is back, bringing fun, excitement, and plenty of cricket action to Steampacket Gardens in Geelong on Saturday, 14 December.

A highlight on the club’s summer calendar, the Melbourne Renegades Family Day is a chance for the whole Renegades community to come together with a host of family-friendly activations poised to keep young fans entertained.

Kicking off at 12pm and running through to 3pm, this free event promises a jam-packed afternoon for families and fans of all ages as we celebrate what’s been an amazing WBBL season and continue the build towards what we hope is an equally amazing and thrilling BBL season.

Attendees will have the chance to meet their heroes in RED, go home with some autographs and get stuck into some exciting activities throughout the day.

There will also be plenty of prizes and giveaways from the club’s wonderful partners including Geelong's own K ROCK 95.5 where some of the radio station's familiar faces (and voices!) will join the festivities. This year's Family Day follows on from 2024's successful Geelong Beach Bash which saw locals take on the Renegades and K ROCK's Cameron Ling and Tim Bolch in a game of beach cricket on the waterfront.

With beautiful views of the waterfront and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere, Steampacket Gardens will be abuzz with Big Bash energy!

Stay tuned for more details in the lead-up to the event.
