Evans signed a three-year deal with the Renegades ahead of the BBL|08 season and made his long-awaited debut in the final match the following season.
He didn’t look out of place either, bowling to the likes of Chris Lynn and AB de Villiers.
However, Evans really burst onto the scene late in BBL|10, taking 10 wickets across three matches, headlined by an ultra-impressive 5/33 against the Hobart Hurricanes. He became a cult figure with his headband and flying mullet and his form was rewarded with a List A debut, playing two games for Victoria in the Marsh Cup early in 2021.
Evans plays Premier Cricket for Ringwood and was a member of the Australia U19 World Cup squad that reached the final in 2018.
