At the 2017 Allan Border Medal, Molineux took home the Betty Wilson Young Cricketer of the Year Award, voted by her peers as Australia’s most promising rising player for performances across a voting period before the WBBL|02.
After the voting period, Molineux made headlines with 4-18 and scored a match-winning knock of 28 not out from 18 balls against Adelaide Strikers in the Renegades’ game two of the WBBL|02.
Two years later, Molineux starred in WBBL|04, becoming the fourth player in the league’s history to score 300 runs and take 15 wickets in a season at just 21 years of age. She also become only the second WBBL player behind teammate Molly Strano to play 50 games as a Renegade.
A former captain of the under-18 Victorian side, Molineux has played a role at the top of the order for the Vic Spirit and with the ball thanks to her left-arm spin.
In 2014, having just turned 16, Molineux was named Player of the Championships at the Under-18 Nationals. She was the highest run-scorer for Victoria with 155 runs and also claimed 19 wickets for the tournament, at an incredible average of just 3.9.
