Boyce joined the Renegades ahead of the BBL|08 season but has been on the domestic cricket scene since his debut for Queensland in 2010.
His cricket journey has taken him from the Sunshine State to Tasmania, but it is in recent times that he has morphed into a Twenty20 specialist.
The leg-spinner made his T20 debut for Australia back in 2014 and played a further six matches, though none since 2016. He has dismissed some of the best batsmen on the planet, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock.
Boyce did not feature in BBL|10, but in the two seasons before that, took a combined 30 wickets, making him one of the most dangerous spin bowlers in the competition.
Boyce has been unavailable for the beginning of BBL|11, but looms as a dangerous duo should he joins Afghanistan spinner Zahir Khan later this season.
