The Melbourne Renegades have re-signed impressive spinner Molly Strano on a two-year contract.
Strano, the club’s reigning Player of the Year, will continue her Rebel WBBL career in red at Etihad Stadium.
For the past two seasons Strano has been dominant for the Renegades collecting 39 wickets to sit second on the all-time wicket-takers list in the WBBL.
Strano made her debut in Australian colours earlier this year against New Zealand in a T20 International at the MCG, taking her first international wicket.
“It’s great to be back on board with the Renegades for the next two seasons. I’ve enjoyed playing with this group and the culture we’ve created. The season ahead looks promising – we have some firepower,” Strano said.
“Being able to sign multi-year contracts is a great step forward for women’s cricket and the WBBL. It’s great knowing I can commit to the Renegades over the longer term.”
Strano joins Sophie Molineux and Jess Duffin among the recent announcements for WBBL|03.
The Renegades begin their WBBL season against the Sydney Thunder in Sydney on December 9.
