The tournament was held in Wollongong and also featured the Sydney Thunder.
The Renegades squad was selected following the club’s Champions League tournament – a series of T20 matches that sees accomplished Victorian based cricketers represent their community or country of origin.
After winning the toss and batting in the decider the Renegades posted 5-125 from their 20 overs.
Abhilash Sharma led the way with 52 from 39 balls.
In reply, the Stars were well placed at 2-69 but a middle order collapse halted their charge. Sunam Gautam was the pick of the bowlers with 2-13 from four overs.
The Stars finished on 8-117.
Renegades Captain Ejaaz Elavi said the team were proud to represent the club.
“It’s been an absolute privilege to captain all the guys,” he said.
“I think we gelled really well as a group and I think that shows in our performance to win three out of three and be undefeated in the tournament.
“It’s a massive honour. We all aspire to play for the Renegades so just to wear the red colours out there, it’s really fantastic and we’re all definitely not taking this for granted.”
