As part of a first taste of the fixture for the upcoming season, the Renegades can confirm they will take on the Perth Scorchers on January 1.
The match will be played in an afternoon time slot, at 1.40pm AEDT.

“We’re excited to have secured a home game on New Year’s Day at Marvel Stadium,” Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said.
“It’s a family-friendly time slot on a day when we know lots of people are in Melbourne and wanting a cool and fun action-packed day out – we're expecting a huge crowd at Marvel Stadium."
