Hundreds of Renegades fans have flocked to the team’s annual Family Day at Merv Hughes Oval.
On a perfect Sunday afternoon, with both the BBL and WBBL sides in attendance, there were plenty of opportunities for autographs and photos.
On field, the BBL side played a practice match against an Invitational XI, featuring several members of the Renegades’ supplementary list.
Batting first, Cameron White (38) and Callum Ferguson (35) led the way, the Renegades finishing on 7/146 from their 20 overs.

Spin was then a regular feature when the Renegades were in the field; both Xavier Doherty and Nathan Hauritz featured within the power play overs.
However, it was White who ended up doing the most damage with the ball, being on a hat trick at one stage before eventually finishing with the figures of 3/9.
The Invitational XI was bowled out for just 97, giving the Renegades a 49-run victory as they continue to prepare for the BBL|05 season opener on December 19.
