Continuity is the name of the game for the Melbourne Renegades, who will take an unchanged 13-player squad to Sydney to take on the Thunder in the WBBL|05 on Saturday night.

The Renegades have named an unchanged squad in each of their four games so far this season, and are yet to make a change to their final XI.

But there’s little reason for change, given the performance of the team in its past two outings.

After a loss to the Adelaide Strikers last Saturday, the ‘Gades have strung together consecutive victories over the Strikers and the Perth Scorchers, with several notable performances from international stars Danni Wyatt and Tammy Beaumont with the bat and Lea Tahuhu with the ball.

Such performances have seen the Renegades move into second place on the WBBL|05 ladder after one week of the competition.

The Thunder, meanwhile, have one win from two games, including a seven-wicket triumph over the Brisbane Heat last Sunday.

Sixteen-year-old sensation Phoebe Litchfield has been the headline performer, cracking 52 not out from 48 deliveries to be named Player of the Match against the Heat.

Saturday’s match will be streamed live on cricket.com.au and in the official Cricket Live App from 7pm.
