After finishing equal fourth in the WBBL|04 Player of the Tournament voting – tied on 23 votes with Meg Lanning (Perth Scorchers) and Sammy-Jo Johnson (Brisbane Heat) – Molineux was named as the recipient of the Renegades’ highest individual honour.
Molineux was also named in the WBBL Team of the Tournament, the Australian Cricketers’ Association 2018-19 WBBL All Star Team of the Year and Fox Cricket’s Team of the Tournament, alongside fellow Renegade, Molly Strano.
After returning from Australia's World T20 win, the all-rounder struck a purple patch in the middle of the season, notching 148 runs and three Player of the Match performances in the first three games of 2019. This included an unbeaten 78 against the Melbourne Stars on New Years’ Day.
Molineux cemented herself as one of the competition’s leading all-rounders in the competition, finishing with 354 runs at 29.50 with the bat and 16 wickets at 21.37 with the ball.
She's just the fourth player in WBBL history to score 300 runs and take 15 wickets in a season.
Molineux was named the Betty Wilson Young Cricketer of the Year Award (2016) and WBBL Young Gun of the Year Award (WBBL|03).
This is the first time she's taken out the club’s top award.
