The Melbourne Renegades clash with the Sydney Sixers has been abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain.

A bat flip was able to be completed, as the Renegades lost the flip and were batting first.

The points will be split between the two sides, as the Renegades now move on to face the Stars in the Melbourne Derby on Monday night.
