Marsh returns for match at Manuka

14 January 2021

Shaun Marsh will return for the Renegades in tomorrow night’s match against the Brisbane Heat in Canberra.

The Renegades batsman remained in Perth earlier this month for the birth of his third child and missed the last two matches.

The club has added Carlton CC wicket-keeper / batsman Brayden Stepien to its playing roster.

Stepien comes into the squad as a local replacement player for Cameron Boyce (health condition).

Stepien played two games for the Renegades last year and boasts scores of 50, 157no, 88 and 68 from his four innings in Premier Cricket this season.

Rilee Rossouw is continuing his recovery from a hamstring injury and is in contention to return for the Renegades next match.

Mohammad Nabi has left the club to join Afghanistan ahead of its series against Ireland.

As announced on Monday, the match was originally scheduled to be played at Marvel Stadium. The change is due to current restrictions on travel from Brisbane.

Fans who purchased tickets to Thursday’s match will receive a refund. Further information will be provided for all fans who purchased a three-game membership shortly.

Thursday’s night’s match will be broadcast on Channel Seven and Fox Cricket at 7.15pm (AEDT).
