The Melbourne Renegades have announced the appointment of Ms Gayle While as a Director to the club’s Board.
Ms While is currently Deputy CEO of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and Head of CRM for the company.
Recognised as one of the most progressive leaders in her industry, Ms While has established a highly successful career working in major agencies in Australia and overseas.
Ms While has led award-winning customer experience work for Westpac, Telstra, American Express and IKEA and held global roles with some of the world’s biggest brands including Xbox, Nike, Peugeot and Unilever.
Melbourne Renegades Chairman Jason Dunstall said Ms While’s appointment would bring outstanding innovation and international expertise to the club.
“I am delighted Gayle has agreed to join us at the Melbourne Renegades. The culture of innovation in the BBL and WBBL means we need to be at the forefront of fan experiences now and in the future,” Dunstall said.
“Gayle has worked with brands that are international household names and she has helped those brands enhance the way they engage with their customers. Her strategic knowledge will be invaluable in the context of what we are building in this competition,” Dunstall added.
Ms While said she was pleased to work closely with the club.
“The BBL and WBBL has had a profound effect on the summer sporting landscape in this country. From a club perspective that gives us enormous scope to have an even greater impact on our community and the fan bases we build,” Ms While sad.
