The agreement will provide the club’s BBL and WBBL teams with access to world-class cross-training equipment as they push for Big Bash success.
Everlast’s Senior Marketing Manager Sharon Gibbons said there is clear synergy between the two brands.
“The Melbourne Renegades and #TeamEverlast consist of like-minded, top tier athletes who live the values of being authentic, daring, edgy, strong, bold, dedicated and, most importantly, being an individual,” she said.
“Everlast is the undisputed world leader in fitness equipment, and the brand of choice for boxing champions and athletes throughout history, so the partnership made perfect sense.
“Boxing is a fantastic complementary style of training that is practiced by athletes worldwide across all major sporting codes, it’s wonderful to bring this together in an official sense with the Melbourne Renegades.”
Renegades CEO Stuart Coventry said the two brands will work closely throughout the season.
“Everlast are a progressive brand who have worked closely with some of the world’s best athletes, so we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership will open up,” he said.
“The physical demands on our players are increasing all the time. Our BBL players are featuring in various competitions at home and abroad all year round and our WBBL players are heading that way as well.”
Everlast is the official boxing and fitness equipment partner of the Melbourne Renegades.
The Renegades begin their WBBL campaign on December 2nd before the BBL season gets underway on December 20th.
