The 19 year old was a member of the Brisbane Heat side that defeated Sydney Sixers in the WBBL Final last season.
With established keeper Beth Mooney already in the Heat line-up, it was Dooley’s batting prowess that saw her secure a spot in the side.
Scores of 44 not out and a player of match knock of 48 not out (33 balls) highlighted her season.
“The Renegades are coming off a great season and with so many exciting young players, I’m looking forward to being part of the club’s rise,” Dooley said.
“I enjoyed my time with the Heat and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities and mentoring I was given.
“It was a tough decision to leave but ultimately the opportunity to establish myself as a wicket-keeper/batter in the Renegades line-up was too good to pass up.”
Dooley is a member of Cricket Australia’s National Performance Squad and was named in the Australian under-19 squad to tour New Zealand earlier this year.
