For the first time in the league’s history, all teams will compete in an expanded 14-game home and away fixture.
The Renegades will take on Melbourne Stars in a New Year’s Day clash at the MCG, before hosting the cross-town rival at Marvel Stadium on January 19.
The club will also host a WBBL/BBL double header at Marvel Stadium on December 29.
The Renegades will play five home games at Marvel Stadium, with the venue for the remaining two home matches to be announced soon.
New broadcast partners, the Seven Network (11 matches) and Fox Sports (three matches broadcast exclusively) will beam every ball of the Renegades season into homes around the country.

“We’ll play 14 BBL matches in a little over six weeks. It’s a big season and an exciting expansion. It guarantees our members and fans will have plenty of opportunities to see their favourite players in action,” Melbourne Renegades CEO Stuart Coventry said.
“This is a fiercely competitive league and we’re excited we’ll be able to start our BBL|08 campaign in front of our home fans.
“We narrowly missed out on the final last season and we’re confident we’re assembling another strong squad highlighted by the recent signings of Dan Christian and Cameron Boyce.
“With Kane Richardson and Jack Wildermuth having represented Australia in the last month or so and our captain Aaron Finch re-signing with us on the back of some of the best form in recent years, there are lots of reasons to be excited,” Coventry said.
“We had terrific success with Network Ten in recent years and we’re really looking forward to a new era with Seven and Fox bringing our matches to people all over Australia and around the world.”
