Prolific batter Aaron Finch stepped away from the captaincy for BBL|11 but continued to lead from the front.

Finch missed the first three games with a knee injury, but quickly made up for lost time. The 35-year-old crunched 68 off 43 balls in a record partnership with Nic Maddinson.

He finished the tournament with 386 runs from just 10 innings, including four half-centuries.

Two of those came in the Renegades' final two matches, as the team fell just short of victory on both occasions.

Richardson finished the tournament with 19 wickets, often bowling in the power play, power surge or death overs.

The experienced fast bowler picked up his 100th BBL wicket in game two against the Strikers, as part of figures of 4-32.

He also stepped into the captaincy on multiple occasions, when Nic Maddinson was unavailable.

Sophie Molineux
