They will need to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian in these areas. The parent or guardian is responsible for the child whilst in and around the stadium. The child is not permitted to sit in aisles or run/move around to the detriment of other attendees. If you wish for a child under five (5) years old to occupy a reserved seat, then a junior reserved seat must be purchased.

2.4.2 Concession Members

A concession member is deemed to be a member aged 16 years or over as of 1/12/17 and must hold a valid form of concession as outlined in clause 15 of these terms and conditions.

3. Membership Renewals

3.1 Renewal Notifications

3.1.1 Champions

Season seating renewals may be offered to Members subject to availability and, only if available and offered, Melbourne Renegades will endeavour to offer a season seat renewal in each year to those who have held season seats in the previous year. This making of any offer will, however, be at the absolute discretion of Melbourne Renegades and it is not guaranteed, with Melbourne Renegades reserving the right to these seats at all times. Should the Melbourne Renegades not be able to offer a seat renewal, the option of alternative seating may be offered at Melbourne Renegades absolute discretion. Renewal notifications for membership and season seats will be sent either by mail or email to the Member’s registered address or email address. It is the absolute responsibility of the Member to follow up on renewal forms, which may not have been received and to ensure the Melbourne Renegades has correct contact details at all times.

3.1.1.1 Champions Renewal Due by Date

The renewal due by date for Members to retain reserved seats from the previous season will vary from season to season. However, BBL|06 members will have until 11:59pm on 30h September 2017 to renew their seats for the BBL|07 season. Failure to renew season reserved seats by the specified due date in each year will lead to the Member forfeiting his or her right to retain previous seasons seats. Members may be reminded via email to renew by a specific date to retain previous seasons reserved seat. It is, however, the responsibility of Members to make their own inquiries about renewals and Members will not receive personal renewal reminders or follow ups via mail, email or telephone if seats have not been renewed by the due date.

3.1.1.2 Late Renewals

The acceptance of any late renewal will be determined solely by Melbourne Renegades in its absolute discretion. In such cases where late renewals are offered, late fees may be applicable. Alternatively, if a late renewal is not accepted, Members will be required to re-apply for reserved seating as a new applicant. Members renewing after the renewal date where accepted will have new seats allocated.

Melbourne Renegades reserve the right to change any Member’s allocated reserved seat where required by the relevant venue owners or hirers, Cricket Australia, the International Cricket Council or Melbourne Renegades. Where practical, the Melbourne Renegades will try to accommodate any changes within the same seating bay as previously allocated. A late renewal of seat will not allow a Member to renew his or her previous season’s seat.

3.1.2 Access Red, Double Up & 12th Man Memberships

Access Red, Double Up & 12th Man membership renewals are offered subject to availability and Melbourne Renegades will endeavour to offer a membership renewal in each year to those who have held memberships in the previous year.

Once seats in this area have been exhausted, Champions Members will need to sit in the general public general admission areas. If a Champions member does not wish to sit in the allocated seating bays or wishes to attend with an individual who does not have rights to access that seating area, they will be permitted to sit in the public general admission area. Availability of seating in the public general admission area is, however, subject at all times to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

If a Champions member wishes to have an allocated seat outside of the allocated seating area, they will need to purchase a reserved seat through Ticketek or at the venue by using the 12 digit barcode on their membership card. Champions members can purchase a ticket at a special Renegades away member price. Transaction fees apply to pre-purchased tickets.

Seat Ownership

Stadium seating remains the property of the relevant Stadium Management and is made available to Melbourne Renegades to offer a renewal/lease arrangement to Members on a year by year basis for Melbourne Renegades home games only. Season seat holders do not hold any rights to access their season seat for any other events or matches apart from home games as specified by Melbourne Renegades within the Big Bash League season. This access does not extend to any Big Bash League Finals or other cricket matches.

100% viewing of the game and arena is not guaranteed from any category of seating. Any seat classified as Restricted Viewing will be determined by Melbourne Renegades with any such seat being charged at the standard price category of that location, or being charged an otherwise predetermined amount, at the Melbourne Renegades discretion. Any seat classified as either undercover or underneath a roofline does not guarantee protection from climatic conditions or any elements.

Seat holders are required to purchase a membership for every season seat held/renewed. Memberships therefore must be paid for at the time of purchase.

4.1.2 General Admission

General Admission allows access to designated, unreserved seating areas on a first-come, first served basis subject always to availability. Members’ entry to these areas is strictly subject to capacity. Membership holders are not guaranteed entry to a match, except where a reserved seat has been purchased through the relevant ticketing agent. Melbourne Renegades recommends that Members reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches.

Members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee, subject always to availability. Ticket agencies may also charge a booking fee, which is to be at the expense of the Member. Additional fees and charges may apply to General Admission Memberships.

4.1.2.1 Access Red

Access Red members have access to all four home games at Etihad Stadium, the home game at Simonds Stadium and the away derby at the MCG. Members have access to an exclusive member General Admission area on Level 1 of Etihad Stadium, as well as any other public General admission area. Members can upgrade to a reserved seat for matches through the relevant ticketing agent for an additional fee. Access Red members will receive discounted pricing on reserved seats booked to Simonds Stadium and the MCG for Renegades matches. Transaction fees apply.

4.1.2.2 Double Up - 2 Game Members

Double Up members have access to two home games of their choice at Etihad Stadium. Members have access to public general admission areas only and seating is subject to availability. General admission areas for home matches will be based on ticket sales and demand. Members can upgrade to a reserved seat for home matches through the relevant ticketing agent for an additional fee. This membership does no grant access to the home game at Simonds Stadium or the Away Derby at the MCG.

Where a Melbourne Renegades WBBL match is held as a double-header at a Melbourne Renegades BBL away match or a BBL match in which the Melbourne Renegades are not participating, members do not have access to the match via their memberships. If members wish to attend one of these matches, they are required to purchase a ticket through the relevant ticketing agent.

4.3 Sheffield Shield

BBL|07 Melbourne Renegades Access members can enter 2017/18 Sheffield Shield matches at the MCG and Junction Oval, without paying for an admission ticket. However, in order to access Sheffield Shield games at the MCG or Junction Oval free of charge, Melbourne Renegades members must present their valid BBL|07 Melbourne Renegades membership card at the relevant point of entry.

12th Man members do not have access to Sheffield Shield matches.

If a Sheffield Shield game is cancelled for any reason, this will not entitle members to any refund from the Melbourne Renegades or rebate on their Melbourne Renegades membership.

If a priority access period is available, Members will be provided with a unique password to use to access tickets in this pre-sale period. Any tickets remaining (if any) at the conclusion of the priority access period will then be made available to the general public.

The details of the priority access period, including dates, times and requirements will be communicated to those certain Members via email in the lead up to this period. As there is a very short timeframe between the final home and away matches and the semi-final matches, Members should regularly check their emails and/or Melbourne Renegades websites for Melbourne Renegades communications for finals details and updates.

4.4.2 Big Bash League Final

The details of the priority access period (if any), including dates, times and requirements will be communicated to certain Members via email in the lead up to this period.

As there is a very short timeframe between the Semi-Final matches and the Final Match, Members should regularly check their emails and/or Melbourne Renegades websites for Melbourne Renegades communications for finals details and updates.

If there is no result in the Final, refunds (if any) will be issued solely in accordance with the Cricket Australia Big Bash League Refund Policy www.bigbash.com.au/refund-policy

5. Premium Reserved Seating Applications

5.1 Premium Reserved Membership Transfers

Members can apply to transfer seats to another Melbourne Renegades member, subject to the discretion of Melbourne Renegades. If a seating transfer is granted, transfers requests must be completed as requested, received in writing and the appropriate renewal fee must be paid by the specified due date. Seat transfers will not be accepted after the renewal due date. Members who are transferring their seat must put their request in writing and the member/person to whom they are transferring their seats must hold or purchase a Champions membership.

A maximum of one seat per Champions membership can be allocated.

5.2 Reserved Seat Changes

Seat changes and upgrades will be made available to renewing Members, subject always to availability. To be eligible for a change of seating, Members must apply for this at the time of renewing their membership. These applications will be accepted subject to any terms stipulated on the membership information section located on www.melbournerenegades.com.au and getonred.com.au and only up until the renewal due date. Seat changes are available on a one for one basis only. Members cannot transfer a seat to another person/member and then apply for a seat change. Once a seat is transferred, the original seat holder no longer holds renewing seat holder rights and as such is required to apply for any seating as a new seat applicant. Members who have received a seat via a transfer are not eligible in the year of transfer to apply for a seat swap. Members wishing to be processed as a group swap must lodge all applications together. After lodgement, if additional Members wish to join a group swap, the original application will become invalid and a new application number will be issued according to the date of the lodgement of the last Member. Amendments to an application will not be accepted after the due by date or once an application has been processed. Changes to seating requirements on an application (i.e. location or category) may be accepted prior to processing provided this request has been received by Melbourne Renegades in writing. If a group of existing Members wish to add another Member to their seating group, they may need to move their seating location in order to accommodate the request.

Reserved Seating changes will not be accepted once the BBL season has commenced.

5.3 New Seats

Subject always to seating availability, Melbourne Renegades may offer an option for existing Members or new Members to apply for season seats. Applications may be made available during the renewal period or alternatively seats may be released for sale on a specified date as determined and advised by Melbourne Renegades. Allocation of such seating (if any) will be subject to availability and determined by Melbourne Renegades based on the application details provided. Correspondence will not be entered into with seat applicants at the time of allocation of seats unless clarification of the application is required by Melbourne Renegades.

New applicants may be required to wait until after 1 October 2017 before they are allocated a seat for the upcoming season. Payment for the seat and membership is required at the time of application. Members wishing to be processed as a group must lodge all applications together. After lodgement, if additional applicants wish to join an existing application the application will firstly only be accepted if Melbourne Renegades is in the process of accepting new applications. Secondly, the original application number will become invalid and a new application number will be issued. This number will be issued according to the date of the lodgement of the last applicant. Amendments to seating requirements on an application (i.e. location or category) may be accepted prior to processing provided this request has been received by Melbourne Renegades in writing. The acceptance of a new application for seating does not guarantee that Melbourne Renegades will be able to fulfil this application/request for seating. Refunds of payments for seats will be offered to seat applicants whom Melbourne Renegades are unable to provide season seats to.
