TAC - Major Community Partner
Every year the Transport Accident Commission helps thousands of Victorians recover and rehabilitate after a transport accident. The TAC aims to reduce trauma on our roads and leads the world in public education campaigns that promote safer driving.
Why we partner with sporting greats.
For more than 20 years the TAC has partnered with great sporting teams and individuals to send road safety messages to the community. These partnerships help us target the most high risk road users: young drivers aged 18-25. The Collingwood and Richmond Football Clubs, Melbourne Victory, Essendon ruckman David Hille and AFL coaches Chris and Brad Scott have all worked with us on campaigns targeting young drivers. Now the TAC looks forward to working with the Melbourne Stars and the Melbourne Renegades to encourage cricket fans to slow down and stay safe on the roads over summer.
