Intro
A tall right-arm quick from Adelaide, 26 year-old Jake Haberfield joined the Melbourne Renegades in December following a season-ending injury to Jayde Herrick.
Despite an excellent domestic one-day record for South Australia of 49 wickets at 21 from 28 matches, Haberfield has enjoyed limited opportunities in the Redbacks setup in the T20 format, playing only three matches since debuting in 2009.
Known as a bowler capable of serious heat while also possessing subtle variations, Haberfield adds depth to the Renegades pace stocks already including former Test player Darren Pattinson, Nathan Rimmington, Brendan Drew and Will Sheridan.
