Tom Beaton

A promising batsman, Tom Beaton captained the Australia Under-19 team in a Test match against India in 2009.

He was also a part of the Australian side which won the 2010 Under 19 World Cup, held in New Zealand. Shortly after that, Beaton won a rookie contract with Western Australia.

Beaton made his first class debut for the Warriors in February 2011 and has played six career games, averaging almost 27 with a high score of 72*.

The middle order batsman also works as a fitness professional and played his first season with the Renegades in BBL|04, where he was impressive in the second half of the tournament.

Making his debut against the Hurricanes, Beaton then went on to provide some middle order hitting, with a pair of 30's against the Stars and Heat respectively.

He was the only batsman to look comfortable in Game 7 against the Heat, plundering a quickfire 31 off just 16 deliveries and breaking the match open.

Beaton played all eight games for the Renegades in BBL|05, strengthening the middle order with his hitting ability.
