Sri Lankan all-rounder, Thisara Perera has represented his country in all three forms of the game.
He made his international debut against India in 2009, where he scored 31 from just 14 balls.
Perera previously played with the Brisbane Heat in BBL|02 and has claimed an international hat-trick in ODIs.
The 27-year old left-hand batsman and right-arm pace bowler has played in T20 tournaments right across the globe and is expected to be an important player for the Renegades.
Most recently, Perera represented Sri Lanka in September in a T20 International against Australia.
Perera has played 189 career T20 games, scoring 2118 runs at a strike-rate of 140.63, with a highest score of 72, and taking 164 wickets.
