Callum Ferguson

Callum Ferguson joined Melbourne Renegades for BBL|04 with a reputation as one of Australian cricket's most gifted batsman.

The right-hander has the ability to dominate across all forms, and is relishing the opportunity to display his many talents in the Renegades' top order.

Batting in the top order for BBL|04, Ferguson was a consistent performer. Often playing his role perfectly by simply rotating the strike at one end, it was no coincidence that two of the three Renegades' wins involved the South Australian at the crease for a sizable length of time.

Unfortunately, a serious knee injury suffered on the eve of BBL|05 ruled Ferguson out long-term; an injury which he battled all the way back from to make his Test debut against South Africa in November 2016.

Off the field, Ferguson is renowned in cricket circles as a particularly keen golfer, and by all reports will keep his Renegades team-mates on their toes with the occasional dressing room prank.
