Match highlights to come

The Renegades have finished their WBBL season with a 35-run loss to the Sixers at North Sydney Oval.

Opting to bowl first, the Renegades were thwarted by an Alyssa Healy masterclass.

84 from just 56 deliveries included 11 boundaries and one six, as the acting Sixers’ captain posted one of the highest scores in the tournament.

Ably supported by Sara McGlashan’s 31, the Sixers posted a formidable total of 5/158.

Natalie Plane provided the highlight for the Renegades in the field, with one of the catches of the tournament on the long-on boundary.

In their pursuit, the Renegades were unable to put on any significant partnerships, losing a steady stream of wickets.

Sophie Molineux top scored with 24, while Grace Harris (18), Molly Strano (15), and Danni Wyatt (11) all made starts but were unable to convert.

Georgia Wareham’s late innings of 20 from as many deliveries enabled the Renegades to get to a total of 9/123, but it was 35 runs short.

Finishing WBBL|02 with six wins and eight losses, the Renegades made a significant improvement on their inaugural season.
