The Melbourne Renegades are delighted to announce their major partners for the 2011-12 KFC T20 Big Bash League season.
Melbourne Renegades Chief Executive, Geoff Miles, extended a warm welcome aboard to the team’s partners this summer – Harbour Town Shopping Centre (major sponsor), The Reach Foundation (charity partner) and the Transport Accident Commission (major community partner).
“The Melbourne Renegades are extremely fortunate to have secured the support of three quality organisations for the KFC T20 Big Bash League season,” Mr Miles said.
“I would like to officially welcome Harbour Town Shopping Centre, The Reach Foundation and the Transport Accident Commission aboard as the Renegades embark on their debut summer of cricket at Etihad Stadium.
“I urge all Renegades fans to get behind our partners as they are well and truly part of the Renegades team.”

Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
Each year the TAC helps thousands of Victorians recover and rehabilitate after a transport accident. The TAC aims to reduce trauma on our roads and leads the world in public education campaigns that promote safer driving.
The Melbourne Renegades have partnered with the TAC and the Melbourne Stars in championing the Slow Ball Challenge, which calls on all cricket fans to commit to slowing down on our roads this summer and beyond.
At the end of the campaign, two winning teams will each win $5,000 and play a game of Slow Ball cricket during the KFC T20 Big Bash League game at the MCG on 19 January.
TAC CEO Janet Dore said every year about 100 people died in crashes involving speed.
“What this campaign promotes is that it is not OK to speed and by taking part in the Slow Ball Challenge you and your mates are showing your commitment to looking after each other on the roads,” Ms Dore said.
The TAC urges all Victorians and cricket fans to join the Slow Ball Challenge and slow down on the roads this summer.
